One Minute Tips |
| Lob drill to improve your rhythm |
For: For players who lack good timing and rhythm and hit shots left and right, this will enhance the co-ordination of your swing. Drill: Practice hitting lob shots with a sand wedge or lob wedge over a bush or small tree, five to ten yards in front of you. Make sure your swing is smooth, long and lazy, paying particular attention to the role all the parts of the body play during the back and through swings. Practice this regularly for fifty to a hundred shots per practice session and your rhythm, feel and ball striking will improve substantially, due to the improved awareness of how your body works during your swing. You will also be a dab hand at Phil Mickelson lob shots as well. |
