Goretex PacLite® from Galvin Green. The lightest, most breathable rainwear ever made.  It is a revolutionary, ultra lightweight waterproof fabric, specifically engineered for lightness and packability.

Though barely half the weight of conventional Goretex ® rainwear, the unique abrasion-resistant lamination of PacLite fabric eliminates the need for any additional lining. Goretex ® PacLite ® combines the “Guaranteed to keep you dry?” promise of regular Goretex ® fabrics with an even greater level of comfort and breathability.

The ultra-light, packable qualities of this latest generation of Goretex PacLite® fabrics make the Galvin Green range of PacLite® golf waterproofs particularly suitable for golfers who prefer to carry their clubs - even if in a pencil bag - yet who still demand all the functions and advantages of top quality, conventional rainwear.  They are easy to wash and maintain - just requiring a regular machine wash and tumble dry.

Tech facts

Gore-Tex® Paclite® Shells features the lightest, most packable fabrics. Durably waterproof, windproof, and extremely breathable. The Gore-Tex® membrane contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square cm. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule, which makes the Gore-Tex® membrane completely water­proof from the outside, while allowing perspiration to escape from the inside.

Goretex PacLite® guarantee

All garments manufactured using Goretex ® fabric have a function and material guarantee. This guarantee means that should your garment leak, then after testing, Gore will repair or replace the garment.
