One Minute Tips |
| Let go of the club for improved distance |
For:The player that fails to accelerate through impact, causing the left arm to break down or the right hand to inhibit the downswing. Drill:Make sure you are on a quiet patch of land or deserted driving range with this dril. Also, the use of a brand new Honma iron is not recommended, in case you let go of the club. Tee up a ball, and swing to the top with a medium iron. Swing through and let go of the club with the right hand and the left arm will continue to a full finish. This drill will quieten the right hand and promote a strong sense of freedom in the throughswing, as you let go. |
