Titleist Fitting

Titleist club and putter fitting

The Titleist Brand

Picture the scene... you have a makeable putt, you line it up, strike it well - everything's looking good. But what's this? The ball veers off course and misses. The resulting frustration stays with you through the round, so you get your dentist, who happens to be your playing partner that day, to X-ray the golf ball in question (obviously). As you suspected, the rubber core of the ball is off-centre. What else is there to do but design a machine that can produce consistent, perfectly "dead centre" weighted golf balls? This is the story of Phillip E Young, and of the birth of Titleist in 1932. Since then the Titleist brand has gone from strength to strength, forging a reputaion for producing "the number 1 ball in golf" and "serious clubs for serious golfers" as well as their famous Vokey wedge and Scotty Cameron putter names.

Titleist fitting

At Premium Golf we have a full Titleist fitting kit along with outdoor facilities, the Flightscope X2 launch monitor and highly qualified PGA profeessional fitters, enabling us to fit you for Titleist drivers, woods, hybrids and irons, Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron putters across the full range of models. Once our expert fitters have established the exact specifications that will work best for you, these will be passed to Titleist who will build your clubs to order, with the utmost precision and the tightest tolerances.

Titleist Technologies

Click play in the player below to see three short videos presenting the key new features of the 915 driver head; the active recoil channel, radial speed face and high moment of inertia. These features combine to produce greater ball speed on both centre and off-centre hits and lower spin, offering significant increases in carry distance. The final video takes you through the key design features of the AP series of irons.
