Tyrrells Wood Golf Academy - the perfect place to learn golf The Tyrrells Wood Golf Academy has been designed to provide potential new golfers with the most comprehensive introduction to the game. Our team of PGA Professionals are on hand to provide new golfers with the perfect start to their golfing career, whatever their age or experience. Based at one of the most attractive golfing locations in Surrey, the course and clubhouse at Tyrrells Wood are a true sanctuary from the hussle and bussle of everyday life and a day's golf is the perfect escape right on your own doorstep. The tree lined fairways and beautifully manicured course offers a fantastic golfing experience to both experienced golfers and newcomers to the game. Whether you want to learn the game from scratch or to rediscover your golfing form after a break, our coaching team are fully PGA qualified and are equally skilled at teaching both beginners and more experienced players. The Academy Membership of The Academy costs just £550 for a period of 12 months includes: 8 hours of individual PGA professional tuition Unlimited access to free group lessons Free access to the James Braid designed golf course Access to the clubhouse and social functions £50 start-up credit on barcard 10% of all clubhouse F&B purchases Regular Academy competitions Entry into members roll-ups Ongoing guidance and professional supprt on the rules and etiquette of golf The coaching is regular and varied, and after 12 months, assuming an adequate level has been attained, membership of the Golf Club can be obtained.
