James Lockrose MSc PGA

James is the County Coach for all Surrey Ladies and Junior Squads and is completing a PhD in golf Psychology. James is based at Worplesdon Golf Club and is a leading expert in the between-shot phase in golf. Specialising in coaching and mentoring aspiring golfers, James works with numerous amateurs and professionals and attributes his success to focusing on players’ strengths and natural swing fundamentals whilst maintaining a strong psychological premise to each lesson.

Jim Christine MPGA

Recently awarded the rare position of Master Professional within the PGA, Jim has been a top level coach for over 25 years and his experience has helped his role as Head of Swing at the PGA training academy. Here he has been responsible for introducing the latest knowledge and thinking on the game into the programme. Jim has long been a member of the Ryder Cup committee and is a regular contributor to Golf International magazine.

Alex Nicolson PGA

Alex is Director and Founder of Premium Golf Ltd and a PGA qualified coach. He has worked with all ages and abilities of golfer, from beginner to County player. He was involved for many years coaching both Surrey Girls and Boys squads before setting up this company. One of the central tenets of his coaching is to build an appetising but realistic path to improvement around the golfer's schedule. "Too often golfers' attempts to get better don't match up to what else is going on in their lives. I like to find ways the golfer can make some quick but lasting wins and save some shots without hours of practice every week ". Learn more.
