Peter Scott Golf

The Peter Scott Golf range includes some of the most desirable fabrics and styles for on and off course attire. Leading with the flagship model, Peter Scott gives us the luxurious cashmere in crew neck, vee neck and slipover. The source and stringent selection of cashmere yarn both creates a wonderful garment and sets the tone for quality across the entire range. The Scottish knitwear specialists are widely regarded as the industry leaders.

They should know a trick or two as they have been producing knitwear since 1878. Originally known as Pesco, they used to make a lot of knitted underwear which must have certainly honed their ability to make the material soft! Across the other fabrics of Lamora, Merino and Lambswool, the softness is noticeable.

Peter Scott sweaters tend to become a golfer's favourite, and in a way this frequency of use prompted the company to investigate technologies to increase the durability of each garment. Even in traditionally "high maintenance" fabrics like cashmere, Peter Scott have successfully introduced an easy care feature which allows machine washing and tumble drying. They haven't shouted about this, as people buy cashmere sweaters for the softness and style, but this innovation adds a valuable practical benefit.
