18th Green at Denham

Denham's 16th century dining hall

Denham Golf Club

Location:

A beautifully maintained parkland/heathland golf course, Denham is an undulating course with wooded areas requiring good judgment of distance. Off A412 near Uxbridge the course is 6462 yards, 5903 metres - S.S.S. 71.

History:

The formation of the Denham Golf Club was took place in 1910 and the course designer was the well known golf architect, H.S.Colt. The course has remained faithful to the original design and its condition and presentation have benefited from a large investment in full irrigation and first rate plant and equipment. The course is fortunate to have a gravel sub-soil which drains extremely well and enables play all year round.

Clubhouse:

The Clubhouse was created from a 16th century tithe barn and farmhouse and the Dining Hall, with its exposed beams and brick walls, provides a unique atmosphere. A private members' club Denham is proud to offer an excellent catering and service and a warm welcome.

Although many golf clubs grew up around railways there are few in England , if any, that can boast a railway station named after the golf club. Denham Golf Club Station is on the Chiltern line from Marylebone and enables visitors from London to walk across the 11 th fairway to the clubhouse in a matter of minutes!
