The Forest of Arden is regarded as one of the finest golfing destinations in the Europe with two great courses. The Arden course is one of the country's most spectacular challenges and host to a succession of international tournaments, including the 1997-1999 One-2-One British Masters, 2000-2002 English Open and the 2003-2005 British Masters. The signature hole on The Arden is the 18th a Par 3 measuring 202-yard hole over water. It is a must play hole for every golfer. The shorter Aylesford course offers a varied and enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards and is kept to the same high standard as The Arden. A new golf academy was opened in 2001 with an experienced team of PGA Professionals to be on hand to offer advanced tuition.
